Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF), Bangladesh’s apex microfinance institution established in 1996, implements the ADB-funded Skills for Employment Investment Program (SEIP) across three tranches (2015-2023), training 38,633 disadvantaged youth (30% women) in 15 market-driven trades with 60% job placement guarantee through 100+ Partner Training Institutes (PTIs). SEIP targets low-income families, PWDs (400 trainees), orphans (600), and caregiving (1,800), ensuring 80:20 practical-theoretical ratio under NTVQF/BNQF.
