Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) represents 4,000+ RMG factories contributing 83% of national exports ($27.9B in FY20). BGMEA partners with SEIP/PKSF delivering CBT&A training to 56,721 workers (58% female) across iART centers (Dhaka, Narayanganj, Chattogram) and WTI (Comilla, Narayanganj), achieving 58% job placement through management/operator/upskilling programs under NTVQF/BNQF.

BGMEA institutionalizes industry linkages via STEP-NEO, SICIP with SMUCT (3D Fashion Design, Merchandising), and NSDA occupational standards for RMG 4.0. Training covers pattern making, quality control, and industrial engineering, supporting BTEB accreditation and DTE polytechnic curricula alignment for 1.2 million TVET trainees.

BGMEA advances Digital Bangladesh through health centers (60,000 workers/year), UN Fashion Charter for Climate Action (30% GHG reduction by 2030), and BUFT skill development. Collaborations with ADB/SEIP position RMG workforce for Industry 4.0 competitiveness, SDG 4 equitable access, and Vision 2041 developed nation goals.
