Competency-Based Training (CBT) in Bangladesh’s TVET sector prioritizes demonstrable occupational skills over time-based learning. Under SEIP guidelines and NTVQF/BNQF frameworks, CBT breaks training into modular competencies assessed through criterion-referenced evaluation when learners are ready. Flexible delivery (on/off-job), RPL recognition, and workplace transferability distinguish CBT from traditional methods, ensuring industry-relevant outcomes across DTE polytechnics and BTEB-affiliated RTOs.
