Job Placement Officers (JPOs) in Bangladesh’s technical institutes under BTEB, BMET, and NDSA play a vital role in linking fresh short-course and diploma graduates with employers through industry tours, guest lectures, placement brochures, and sustained industry-institute partnerships. This exploratory study analyzes major challenges faced by JPOs in placing graduates amid competitive markets, stagnant job growth, and skill mismatches, drawing from a census of 29 JPOs.
