Strengthening TVET Diploma Programs for Better Employability: Key Insights from Focus Group Discussion with Experts under ASSET Project

We recently conducted a productive Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with TVET experts and Job Placement Officers from a range of organizations. The session was led by our Team Leader, Babor Ali Sir, as part of an assignment under the ASSET Project. The discussion was rich with valuable insights on bridging competency gaps within TVET diploma programs to enhance graduate employability and align training more closely with the current demands of industry and labor markets.

By bringing together diverse expert perspectives, we aim to refine TVET diploma training frameworks, improve assessment accuracy, and foster greater industry collaboration. This collaborative effort is a critical step towards strengthening the quality and relevance of technical and vocational education and training across Bangladesh. Stay tuned as we move forward with implementing these insights to support skills development and workforce readiness.
