Finally I launched my must awaited book on DACUM. This book explores DACUM (Developing A Curriculum for Uniform Mastery), a method for designing competency-based training programs. DACUM emphasizes the expertise of experienced workers in defining the tasks and skills needed for a job. The book outlines the core principles of DACUM, including its focus on tasks and skills, and explains how these principles translate into effective training programs. It also details the historical development of DACUM, tracing its rise from military applications to its widespread use across various industries today. Finally, the book explores how DACUM is evolving to address the demands of the 21st-century workplace, such as the growing importance of technology and soft skills.
